杨式太极拳  Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan:   河北永年人杨露禅从学于河南温县陈家沟陈长兴,与其子杨健侯、其孙杨澄 甫等人在陈式老架太极拳的基础上,创编发展了“杨式太极拳”。其拳路逐渐删改了陈式老架中原有的纵跳、震足、发劲等动作,由杨健侯修订为中架子, 又经杨澄甫一再修订逐渐定为杨式大架子,即现在广为流行的杨式太极拳。

杨式太极拳拳架舒展简洁,结构严谨,身法中正,动作和顺,刚柔内含,轻松 自然,轻灵沉着兼而有之。姿势开展,平正朴实,练法简易,由松入柔,积柔 成刚,刚柔相济。正如杨澄甫所说:“太极拳是柔中寓刚,棉里藏针的艺术” 。架势有高、中、低之分。
